Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon Arrested On Suspicion of Aggravated DUI [UPDATE]
The Jaguars first round draft pick is being held in a Stillwater, Oklahoma jail on $1,000 bail after he was arrested on aggravated DUI charges. A police report has not been made available yet, but the team is aware of the report.
Payne County Sheriff Sgt. Brandon Ingham said that there was no attorney listed for Blackmon in the jail records and USA Today reports that his agent Todd France did not respond to emails or phone messages.
It is the second time in as many years that Blackmon has been arrested on DUI charges, the first coming in Texas in 2010.
Update (4:30 p.m.): Tulsa World has more information regarding the arrest. Blackmon allegedly blew a .24 on the breathalyzer and was subsequently booked in Payne County jail. He was realeased at 12:45 this afternoon. Blackmon's alleged binge and arrest also appear to have taken place after he blew off an autograph signing session in Houston on Saturday, according to the promoter, Tristar productions.
